At Cedar Mountain Genius Adventure camp, we've been serving up fun and rewarding camp experiences. Located in the beautiful Utah Mountains.

Our rooms are well maintained, and have a rustic feel. All rooms are equipped with screens, electricity, single and double beds.
Boys' & Girls' Rooms
The boys' and girls' rooms are separated. Rooms vary in size and fit 1-4 campers.
Dining facility
Our facilities at camp provide the best experience for our campers, from our activity areas to our dining facility. At Cedar Mountain Genius Adventure camp our camper's health and safety are our top priority, which is why our food is fresh, tasty, and nutritious. Our Food Service Director makes much of our food from scratch and purchases local produce when possible. We have 4 course meal.

We are located in southwestern Salt Lake City, approximately 1:45 minutes from Las Vegas and 2:15 from Salt Lake City.

Yes. For those families interested, CEDAR MOUNTAIN GENIUS ADVENTURE CAMP arranges for buses and vans from Las Vegas. We offer airport pick-up at Airport for international and domestic flights. Driving directions and reservation forms for buses and vans are included in the enrollment packet mailed to campers in the spring after the application and deposit are received.
Yes, we have at least one Registered Nurse on duty at all times and a nurse's assistant. Also, many of our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.
CEDAR MOUNTAIN GENIUS ADVENTURE CAMP meals are served in our beautiful dining hall, with healthy, creative and delicious "home cooking" as the focus. We rely on locally-grown ingredients as often as possible, bake our own bread and supply fresh fruit and snacks. A vegetarian option is available at every meal. We are sensitive to and experienced with campers who have dietary restrictions and food allergies and work closely with them and their families to provide suitable alternatives and accommodations. Velena Baranova
DIRECTOR and founder of Cedar Mountain Genius Adventure camp. She has an undergraduate degree from Utah University and a Law Degree. She and her husband have two children.
Our staff
Our staff is well-qualified, caring and enthusiastic. We all work together to ensure a safe, fun and amazing summer for our campers. They are individually interviewed and personally chosen for their experience, interest, and qualifications in working with children.
